Jack Bauer is Batman. Ease up it's only TV fantasy. This show is fun as heck! You wonder what the next thing Jack will pull out of his utility belt (actually he carries an old military pack) This is one of the most entertaining and nail biting shows on TV. Don't miss it. Every conspiracy theorist must have this. It answers all the questions. (Just kidding) Buy it if you want to see a modern super hero.

As another reviewer noted, "24" is propaganda for our war mongers and the sheeple who love them. If you have some career interest or psychological need to be brainwashed by militarists, this series is for you. If you are concerned about things like intellectual integrity and social justice, I'd recommend Eugene Jarecki's documentary "Why We Fight," and the documentary featuring all of the Iraq war vets who have had their bodies or minds shattered, "The Ground Truth."

There are military PR firms like the Rendon Group that probably consult with the producers of "24" to mold attitudes of US citizens to the benefit of the war profiteers. You can't get any more anti-American than that.

i saw the whole entire season it was awesome, but i don't think that it's worth to spend $40 on the whole season with 7 disks, it might have special features but i wouldn't agree to buy it. The only reason i put 5 stars is because the show is phenomenal! It won best drama series 5 times! Each for each year it filmed! I totally agree that they should win! If you never saw it i reccomend you just to BORROW it from Blockbuster. :)

Season 5 brought an action packed 24 hours of fun, excitement, and suspense to an otherwise dull TV lineup. The twists and turns introduced throughout the season kept me coming back week after week, regardless of how disappointed I was by some of the writers' choices earlier on. Most shows have their low points during their runs, however, this season was definitely not 24's. It keeps you guessing all the way up until the conclusion, and I recommend that if you did not get to see it, that you try to before the new season starts on January 14th.

This is an 'one hour' commercial per epidode BOXSET of current government ideology. Its food for brain dying couch potatoes. They're too scared, to not watch the next week's show.
