Author: Guest I bought this for my [...] son.he enjoys writing on it (and stepping on it and using it as a blanket.) My [...] neice loves it. She uses a paint brush and paints on it. She loved when the water bottle spilled on it and turned the whole thing blue. It took it a while to dry out, but is a nice toy. the only thing I dont like about it that it took all of 10 minutes for my son to put the marker in his mouth and suck out all of the water!!! The nice part is that it doesn't matter what he draws on with the marker won't hurt anything, just gross when he sucks the water out.
Author: Guest My 2 year old and all her friends love this mat. It is the first thing the kids go for when they come to the house. It is great with using kids imagination! Wished it came with two water pens to use with a friend, but you can buy extra seperatly. We pack it up and bring it when we go away or to someones house. It folds up small ( fits into my diaper bag) . It is instant fun as soon as we take it out. Great invention!
Author: Guest we bought this toy for our 2 yr old daughter for her birthday because she loves to draw especially on the walls. I wanted something that she could draw on that i did not have to worry about. Now i can say that it is a toy more for 3 and up my son who is 3 loves it and plays with it a lot he does not mind that it is only in blue by the time he fills it up he is bored with it and by the time it dries he is ready to go again. I was suprised how much he enjoyed it because of the reviews i had read. My daughter on the other hand still is drawing on the walls but now with water and instead of eating crayons she is sucking the water out of the pens. On occasion she will go over and draw and she loves splattering the water to make rain. I think it is something that she will grow into and really enjoy when she hits 2 1/2 and for now i don't have to worry about repainting my walls or the digestion of colored wax and the plus is she now drinks water.
Author: Guest Our 2 year old has a ball playing with this. It's hardly an educational toy, but it does keep him busy for a long time. The biggest problem we have is that it cannot be cleaned. We tried getting some dirt off the botom right corner with a little water and a sponge (just dabbing, not scrubbing). Now, that corner can't be used (water doesn't change its color anymore). My advice is to put your money toward an item that can be kept clean and has a little more educational value.
Author: Guest My 18 month old brother got this because he absolutely loves writing but most crayons and markers go straight in his mouth, not good. Anyways, he can play with this for HOURS and HOURS. Because it has small parts we make sure to watch him. It is very durable and, considering it's on sale, it's fairly inexpensive considering it's reusability. Also, you can wash it with warm soapy water if food or anything gets on it! We got the smaller aquadoodle pad for my 3 year old cousin and it is also very nice. I compare hers to a magnadoodle. But yes, this is a great product and I recomend it to any parent!
