Author: Guest my child likes the series (4.5/M) but the last three, including this, seems boring to me.

Author: Guest I am very pleased with all the Baby Einstein products. Baby Monet - Discovering the Seasons is one of our favorites because of the changing of the seasons images.

Author: Guest I think it says it's for "six months old and up," but while my daughter loves the Baby Mozart DVD, she just isn't interested in this one. She likes the music-filled Baby Mozart much better and will sit all the way through it. I gave it three stars because I like that it teaches the words "spring, summer, winter and fall" and has some nice Monet images. For a baby my child's age though, a two star would probably be more appropriate. Maybe older children would like it.

Author: Guest This is an exellent video! I love the way they introduce art, colors and show how each season turns to the next. My 10 month old laughs at the zebras (they are really cute and funny in their skits). He's also captivated by all the colors and images they show for each season. I think the smartest thing is how they show a color for each season and introduce artists impressions. The very begninnng they show two muffins and the little zebra comes along to paint them (you're thinking what does this have to do with season?) Then, they reveal the rest of the painting (a monet-like) of two huts (that look like the muffins) in the grass. They show this same paiting with different season all through the show....very smart! My son is captivated the entire video. I think this is the best we have so far....we also have Bach, Mozart, Beetohoven, Lang Nursery, Noah, Da Vinci, Neighborhood Animals, and Wordsworth. Monet is definately the best one.

Author: Guest I don't get some of these reviews...You do know these are videos for children, right? I think some expect a bit much. I have been buying this series sense by son was a baby, and most all of them have been well loved.(Language Nursery is least fav). Now he is 4 1/2 and my daughter is one, and he will still sit down and watch them all, as will the baby. I really love this one, and think it is really lovely all around. When my daughter is teething and upset, she will sit in our laps, or in her bouncy-chair, and watch the whole thing. It seems to calm and sooth her more than some of the others (also Baby Neptune). All in all, these products are great. I wish I had thought of it!
