| Artist Sandra Boynton has been charming adults for decades with her whimsical, animal-centric greeting cards and her droll sense of humor. When Boynton transferred her weirdly wonderful critters to board books for babies, she made publishing history. These short, hilarious books are perfectly suited to toddler tastes, with their small size, few words, cheerful colors, funny jokes, and silly animals. Blue Hat, Green Hat is all about getting dressed, and stars a very silly turkey who just doesn't get it. (Feet in the hat, pants on the head, etc.) His continuing refrain is "Oops." Moo, Baa, LA LA LA! investigates the sounds animals make, including pigs who sing. Doggies is "a counting and barking book" about the many sounds dogs can make, and A to Z frolics through the alphabet with amusing animal antics from an aardvark admiring to a zebra zigzagging. Parents love Boynton as much as kids do, and these four books in a compact boxed set will no doubt become household favorites! Author: Guest These four books are serious silliness as the back of the box set claims. My husband and I really enjoy reading them to our 4 mos old daughter (especially "Moo, Baa, LA LA La!") and know she'll love them as much as we do when she gets older.

Author: Guest My son loved these books! But one by one, he has destroyed them all by breaking the spines and losing the pages. He's not exceptionally rough with books, just loves them to death. We found the larger size books, like Barnyard Dance and Oh My, Oh My, Oh Dinosaurs and Birthday Monsters have held up much better. We love her stories, but these bigger books are the only ones we have left.

Author: Guest I bought this set for my 9 month old daughter after reading all of the rave reviews. I was excited to order the set but was dissapointed when they arrived. These books are not written well at all and the illustrations leave a lot to be desired. Honestly, anyone could have written these books. None of the books make any sense, have any real meaning or teach anything to children. The illustrations are not eye catching like they are in "Goodnight Moon". My daughter displays absolutely no interest for these books at all. She does have other books that she enjoys. There is no real benefit to reading these books to your child. If you love books like "Goodnight Moon", these books are not for you. The only benefit my child gets from these books now is she uses them to teeth on.

Author: Guest I really love these books and so does my daughter (2 yrs). They are fun and silly but she also learns from them. I also love the size of the books - they fit little hands perfectly. I actually don't mind reading these books over and over.

Author: Guest My 2 yr old son wants to read Blue Hat, Green Hat every night before bed. He gets to read OOPS! on every page! Also, Doggies gets him laughing every time. Moo,Baa LA LA LA is pure silliness. I didn't give the set 5 stars because My son could care less about the A to Z book. It has alot of big words that he cant yet wrap his brain around. For example the first Page is: A is for: Aardvark's Admiring.....What happened to Apples and Ants?? Although as he gets bigger he'll probably love the big words. All in all it's great humor parents and kids can love.
