| Bratz fashion dolls now have their very own animated feature film, starring four fashion-forward pals--Cloe, Yasmin, Jade, and Sasha--as they navigate the traumas of adolescence with attitudes as edgy as their cartoon caricatures. The film opens as the girls receive an art class assignment to "Express Yourself" through a video they jointly produce. The project creates a convenient backdrop for the storyline, which follows each girl in her quest for self-discovery. Sasha is stressed as head of the prom committee, while Yasmin goes undercover as the school newspaper's gossip columnist. Jade nearly collapses from a fashion crisis, while Cloe is in search of the perfect mudpack makeover. There are boys, of course, and a conspicuous absence of adult role models. "Super slammin' good times" await preteen viewers interested in shopping, shoes, and spa treatments, but for those who want a film with substance, the search is on. My daughter discovered Bratz about a year ago, and I immediately tried to discourage her interest. Barbies are one thing, but Bratz are simply hoochie-mamas designed to influence little girls into wearing clothes that are simply innapropriate. That being said though, I totally get the appeal for the younger girls. Fashion, a little romance--it's all very tres chic. Doesn't mean I have to like it, though.
She loved it, of course, when they came out with Bratz Babyz, so we had to watch the movie. On its own merits, the movie is pretty cute. The girls lose their dog at the mall, where they're pursued by an older bully, a security guard, and the baby-care center director. Except for the plot, though, this movie loses serious points with me. The Bratz Babyz go around in belly button-baring shirts and diapers! That's it! Where the heck are their clothes? Teen hoochie-mamas are one thing; baby hoochie-mamas are just plain scary.
Overall, sure, the movie is a cute one for the little girls to watch once. After that, besides just getting on your nerves, this one can go back to the video rental store.

This movie was apsolutly rubbish! The animation wasn't good at all, and they say they have as "Passion for Fashion", hello DID YOU SEE THE CLOTHES THEY WERE WEARING!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Ok well the formal outfits were ok, but the rest of them were just plain and boring, my wardrobe is more fashionable than theirs.
The storyline was a bit boring but you did get an unexpected suprise when you discovered it was Yasmin.
Oh and I noticed that the people at the prom, before the girls arrived, were just standing there and not doing anything. If the prom was bad before they came, wouldn't the teacher have done something???
So over all, don't buy this. [...] Save your cash for something better.

I haven't gotten it yet but I am going to (: I'm am an 11 year old girl and I love Bratz. I collect the dolls, movies, accessories, and even clothing! I highly recommend this DVD to all Bratz lovers though I haven't seen it yet! The preview looks awesome enough for me! (I watched the preview on bratz.com)

This movie looks great! I am the bratz number 1 fan and I rate it, and I quote, %100! It looks brilliant! I saw the trailer and sneakpeek and the movies cooming out on September 12th! Whats really bugging me is a reviewer wrote the lyrics to the song wrong!

I love this movie! I haven't seen it, because it comes out September 12th but I have seen the trailer and sneak peek! There was such a cute music video. It had really cute lyrics as well. I am squirming till the DVD comes out and I even keep track by a calendar in my room! Oh, they are practically gorgeous. And parents that dissaprove, your really horrible liars {which is a disgrace to your children} because you write snotty reviews that the baby's wear 'thongs!' Well I am collecting bratz babyz and none of them wear thongs! They all wear knickers and diapers. If you want the lyrics to the bratz babyz song, here they are!
