Do note that this applies to orders paid by credit card and orders where the payment is settled by transferring the funds to our HSBC account on the same day (before 4PM) that the order is placed. There are some exceptions to this rule: - If you order books which are shipped from multiple warehouses, we will consolidate all the books into one shipment and send to you once all the books have been received. This means that books ordered from Warehouse 1 and Warehouse 2 will be delivered at the same time. - Holidays in the US can sometimes cause delays. We do try and adjust the delivery dates and stay as accurate as possible, but there are several situations which are beyond our control during major US holidays like Thanksgiving, Memorial Day etc. - Typhoon 8 and storm warnings. Delays may be caused as businesses (including shipping and delivery companies) have to close down during Typhoon 8 and other severe weather. - Inventory not available. In some rare conditions, if there are few books available in the warehouses, we may not be able to secure the book for you. This only happens once every 200 or 300 orders. We will do our best to notify you if we cannot secure the book for you. Most of our orders are delivered by Hong Kong Post’s Local Courier service. Please make sure someone is available to sign for the order at the address provided, usually between 10AM and 2PM. You will be reminded the day before your order arrives. |
