| If you've ever wondered why the latest fad diet doesn't work for you... well, there are lots of reasons, mostly the fact that it's a fad diet. But it could also be that you're the wrong blood type for the kinds of foods the diet recommends. Peter D'Adamo makes a persuasive argument that your blood type is an evolutionary marker that tells you which foods you'll process best, and which will be useless calories. He covers the entire range for each of the four blood types, from entrées to condiments and seasonings, and also makes type-specific exercise and lifestyle recommendations. Author: Guest This book impressed me very much. This book reveals that it acts according to ones blood type. This book brought good changes in me it also helped me to understand the type of digestive I have and what type of food I should have to prevent heartburn and stomach problems.
I also liked "The Power of Positive Habits"...it is sold out at Amazon but I found it for a discount at the Barnes & Noble website, or you can get it at "The Power of Positive Habits" website. ..the web address is the same as the book title and they are giving away over $1,000 in free e-books today

Author: Guest I was very impressed with the book, Eating Right For Your Type. I followed the food plan for my blood type and noticed I had more energy by avoiding the foods which were on my negative food list. The book also offers results of people following the diets for different illnesses they have. It makes sense that different blood typed people should following different diets. I highly recommend the book. It's a book you don't want to put down.

Author: Guest This book really is about a life style change. Everything I liked I wasn't supposed to be eating. So it has been an adjustment. I have been gradually fazing out things and hope to get to the point where I am fully on it, the plan. Good stuff.

Author: Guest A friend of mine is a devotee of this diet. She raved about it, while complaining about the diet's limitations. I finally swallowed the bait, so to speak, and bought the book. I also purchased an associated booklet - Type O Blood Food, Beverage and Supplements Lists, which SHOULD have consisted of lists of foods you could conveniently take to the store in order to keep to the diet. I immediately began to notice wild inconsistencies between the lists in each book. Beans listed in one book as "highly beneficial" would be listed in the other as items to "avoid." For that matter, no one still breathing takes 200MG of Melatonin a day. And, if you followed the regime religiously, you'd be in perpetual constipation. There's no excuse for the large number of "publishing" inconsistences - and too many of them to call them ALL "typos." I gave the author, Dr. Peter J. D'Adamo, an opportunity to answer my questions regarding the inconsistencies. Dr. D'Adamo has failed to respond. To me, that means the dear Dr. is quite willing to take my money for his books but unwilling to answer valid questions, justify his theories, support his writings, or correct his mistakes. He's purported himself to be an expert - but read his website: it looks like the musings of a petulant Scientologist struggling to justify his existence. Anyone who dares challenge him is a "They" - as in "They" are all against "me." D'Adamo is espousing a common high-protein burn fad diet that, at the most, shouldn't be followed for more than a week. And his theory that my Type O ancestors never ate anything but red beef is absurd. They didn't read D'Adamo's book. They ate everything they could get their grubby little hands on - even if it meant a nice raw wallaby steak. Do yourself a favor: eat a balanced diet and exercise in moderation. I just saved you $25 bucks.
