Author: Guest I installed this cute frog after falling in love with it at Target. I washed our acrylic one piece shower/tub wall first with scrubbing bubbles, wiped dry, then wiped with provided alcohol swab, and dried it with a hair dryer (too impatient to wait the prescribed 30 minutes). Next I applied the 3M adhesive tape/base to newly clean/dry shower wall (minus the frog), then gave the bad news to my 6 yo and twin 3 yo helpers that the frog had to wait until tomorrow before he could click onto the green base. The next day the frog went up, the toys went in the scoop and the shampoo/conditioner went on the built in shelf! Six weeks later and he doesn't budge a bit - he's there forever. 20 years from now - he'll still be there. Some of the previous reviews said the frog fell off the wall the same day they stuck him up - follow the directions and don't put the frog on for a full 24 hours. The 3M tape needs a CLEAN/ DRY surface to adhere to - scrub the surface clean before "cleaning" with the included alcohol swab. Make sure it is then DRY. Once you stick the white 3M tape, you cannot adjust it - that will make it fail. I think a previous reviewer was right on about not sticking the 3M tape across grout lines - it needs an airtight seal. I believe if you are extremely "sticky" about these key points the frog pod will be a happy addition to your bath!

Author: Guest First, we've had ours up for several months now without issue, and LOVE it. It drains well, since it's hard plastic it doesn't mildew, stores the shampoo bottles, and his toes are great for hanging things (poofs, toys, etc).
BUT, you cannot allow the double stick tape to cross a grout line (or similar indentation, if you have a molded tub/shower surround). Doing so allows water/air behind the tape and it will lose grip! This could be an issue if you have small tile. It is possible to cut the tape so that it only attaches to complete tiles. Thankfully, my shower has 4" x 4" tiles so this was not an issue.
Hopefully that'll help someone!
