Harry Potter is the Chronicles of Narnia of our time-- well, so ar the Chronicles of Narnia, as they are quite timeless. This is an amazing series of books, I find it sad that they have been misinterpreted to be pro-witchcraft when in fact their underlying morality is absolutely Christian-- that is to say, the high and mighty are pictured as being oppressive and the weak and persecuted are exhalted. The imagination is amazing in this series. The writing is some of the best ever. Taken as a whole, this series reminds me a lot of a book I read called The Greatest White Trash Love Story Ever Told.

Harry Potter are, without doubt, perfect series. The plot and the characters are perfect. I give 4 stars, becuase of the boxed set, that contined a few physicall problems and books four and five were a little damaged, but this doesnt hides the greatness of Harry Potter. Buy it, its cheap and covers all the basicall necesities!

okay my dad bought these stupid books and its not like i dont know harry potter "duh" i watched all the movies bought the toys and one day my freind bought the boxed set (his grandfather bought it and gave it to him for his 13th birthday) okay so he started reading them and reading them every where at school at my home by the way hes only in the first book thought he s really in the story so i wanted to read them and my dad bought them and i freaked out from these books i mean they are damn huge and really heavy and dont think its a small box of books its pritty big and the worset thing was that the 5th book was so huge i mean its heavy you need a desk or something to read because you simply well get hirt from such a heavy one and 4th book was big too so i started reading them and "yak" they are nooot so cool i really mean it maybe some people like them but my best freind just didnt finish them he s stuck on the 4th book he says its boring and big while i am not at any book the buttom line these books look great on the shelf but no in the mind....!

These are wonderful books. I already have all of these books and ordered this Boxed Set for my grandson who has finally reached the age to read the books and he loves to read. He has already book 6 and he loved it. He could actually imagine what she was writing. Great writing by the author.

I love all the Harry Potter books! The stories are marvelous and clever! I bought them to read to my son, and find that I have a hard time putting it down! I can't wait for more!
