Some reviewers of the three re-released Jane Fonda exercise videos have used their reviews to support or explain-away Ms. Fonda's behavior during the Vietnam War. That being so, perhaps a comment from the opposite perspective will not be thought inappropriate.

These videos are a lot of fun and they are well done. There is no reason not to buy and enjoy them today. It was a different story when they first came out.

Ms. Fonda enjoyed a huge post-Hanoi Jane success 30 years ago. These exercise videos (and her exercise records and books) reportedly earned her $15 million. Back then America's mothers, wives, girlfriends and sisters elevated and enriched Ms. Fonda in a bit of perfidy that to this day leaves at least one of the happy few wondering about the girls we left behind. The war is long over but that was a stunning personal betrayal to many by the women they loved that still hurts.

Five stars so this comment will not affect the good overall content ratings of these videos.

I own the DVD and VHS versions of this collection. The real reason I love this collection is because the workout takes place on the set of the kids'gameshow "Fun House" with JD Roth as the host. I remember watching the show as a child and desperately wanted to see it again. So this serves as a trip down memory lane for me. At the end of the workouts, the kids run through the shows' obstacle course. Also clips from actual episodes are featured throughout each workout. Adults can enjoy the workouts as well as children.
