Kevyn's death was a horrible loss to the business. He really was an artist, the man that turned the tide on the overmade look...and really showed women how to make the best out of their features. Although most people won't be doing the complex cosmetic makeovers Aucion's book features, you will enjoy every beautiful page and believe in transformation when it is all over.

A timeless classic. Kevyn Aucoin is one of the most talented make-up artists of all time. The looks he creates are gorgeous and inspiring. He gives you the option to chose products from any cosmetic line rather than being forced into one line. This is a great book for someone who is looking to advance their make-up application. I really do know nothing about makeup, but with this book I am really learning. The photos are absolutely beautiful, with step by step instruction on how to attempt recreating each look. I love 'Making Faces' and look forward to purchasing Mr. Aucoin's other books.

This book is the makeup book of all makeup books. For an on the rise makeup artist, this book is very instructional from product information to makeup application. It as good illustrations of before and afters. And Kevyn also, takes you threw his lifes beginnings. This book is very well balanced and is a much needed tool for a makeup artist
