Author: Guest I'm a fan of all rock, everything from alternative, to hard rock to just a little bit of pop rock, and From what i've heard so far, this album will either be a bust, or be popular, cause Mike Sings more than raps, which was a big part in their old great stuff.
Minutes to Midnight will not be popular with true Linkin Park fans who loved Hybrid Theory and Meteora, so Linkin Park will lose a portion of their fans, so they will have to depend on a new fan base.
I'll give this album a shot, but if I don't like it, they will lose this fan.

Author: Guest Ok, I'm not someone who has always hated this kind of music or anything like that. In fact, I was (and still am) probably the biggest Linkin Park fan ever. The've been my favorite band since I was in the [....] (I'm 16 now). They had the most creative/original blend of music there was. There hasn't been a song I haven't liked. Until this album.
What happened? I know Mike is now in Fort Minor (a good band but not near as good as Linkin Park) so when I heard they had a new album coming out, I wondered if Mike worked with them again or if they got rid of the rapping parts. But, when a friend showed me some of there songs off this album and I realized they replaced Mike with some guy who can't rap worth a (insert S word here), I was sooo mad. I couldn't belive they replaced one of the best parts of Linkin Park. That was what I loved about them. They were the only band that actaully blended rap and rock and came out with good music. As soon as I heard the new Linkin Park, I promised myself I would NEVER own this album. If you want the true Linkin Park, get Hybrid Theory or Meteora, not this garbage.

Author: Guest I hate rap music. However, there was something good about the rap/heavy guitar/voices combination found in previous albums. Count me out if the whole album is like "What I've done"

Author: Guest To Joe:
Good catch, also some of the songs are from Chester's old band "Grey Daze." (See my previous review) I, too, am tired of all this claiming to of heard the new album knowing that they are all listening to the fake.
Wait until the album comes out.
