Must watch documentary for westerners who must get over the emotion and try to understand the underlying Chinese motivation for exporting its children. While in Beijing last year we watched daily as 20+ western parents gathered in our hotel lobby each morning with their Chinese adopted toddlers, all GIRLS, to shuttle off to the airport for flights to different western countries. Why is China, a state controlled entity, pushing primarily the adoption of baby girls? Is there a strategy behind this? Or a cultural historical reason?

China's Lost Girls is an accurate 45 minute documentary that will bring tears to your eyes if you have any ties to China. Having adopted one girl from China and traveling this month to get another, our family much appreciated the video.

This is a beautifully done, informative, touching and fun video. Great to show family and friends to illustrate the process and reasons for adopting from China.

The information contained in China's Lost Girls was informative, heart warming, heart breaking and wonderfully produced. I have watched this several times and shared it even more. We need more products of this quality.

My wife and I are in the process of adopting a child from China, and we strongly recommend this DVD to anyone who is considering doing the same. It explains some of the reasons why there are so many orphans in China, and follows a group of Americans as they travel to China to adopt their children.

The scene where all of the parents actually get their children, called "Gotcha Day," is especially touching.
