When you hear this creative collection of alliterative alphabet anthems, you'll be amazed at the various verses and clever choruses. Whether it's the classic "'C' Is for Cookie" or "MMM Monster Meal," young kids will get a kick out of the frivolous fun while learning language set to song. Along with the lyrical letter tunes, there's a "What's My Letter?" skit with Prairie Dawn and Guy Smiley and a fantastic fable, "The Tale of Tom Tattertall Tuttletut," featuring Herbert Birdsfoot and the Anything People. You'd be hard-pressed to find a more alluring alphabet album anywhere. --Deborah Moore

Author: Guest Fun alphabet-related songs to have playing in the background during playtime. My 16 month old daughter enjoys the music while she's playing.
Author: Guest We used to play the tape 10 years ago for our kids when the were younger. We came across the tape recently and played it for an adult friend. He found it extremely catchy and humorous (as we did back in the day), so we are ordering the CD so we can share the fun.
Author: Guest it's hard to understand sometimes when Elmo speaks with his baby voice and the way he sings. My kids keep asking what he said.. all the time. may be need to take some time to get used to it.
Author: Guest I bought this CD for my son's 2nd birthday. He likes it (especially Elmo) and I like it. There is a song or story for each letter, they are all different, and they are all fun. I'm not tired of hearing this yet. The tunes are catchy, but I guess they could drive you nuts when they are stuck in your head.
I've been disapointed by many so called "educating and entertaining" CDs and DVDs that don't teach anything. I love that he's entertained, and getting the concept of letters at the same time.
Author: Guest My brother had these songs on 45's when he was maybe 3 years old (late 70s) and I can remember singing along with many of these songs. Definitely a great find!! I hope my kids will enjoy these as much as I did as a child.
