I purchased this book for my newly 10 year old. She is in the beginning stages of puberty and this book is so informative and helpful. She was just fascinated with the book and how helpful it is.

What a great book. I bought it for my 9.5 yr old stepdaughter who is starting to go through some body changes. She and I enjoy reading it together and answering her questions. It covers everything from keeping your hair, body and fingers clean to nutrition,the changing body, puberty, and Periods. I wish this book was around when I was going through puberty!!! It would have made life easier. Definatly a great book for kids over 8 years old.

This book was recommended by my daughter's pediatrician and she absolutely loves this book. It is very educational and descriptive. She is 11 years old and the information is quite timely. I would recommend this book for every female pre-teen. It opens the door for many meaningful discussions. It is very interesting and well done. American Girls did a great job on this one!

I got this for my 8 year old daughter because she is starting to have some questions, and her hormones seem to be emerging. She is an advid reader and read it cover to cover. I just ask her what she has read and we discuss it. Its a delicate balance of getting her the info she needs, but not more than she can handle.

Hi! I'm Kelsey and I'm 12 years old! I got this book awhile ago, and I haven't read it until recently, when my mom suggested I do. I was searching some pages, and not to sound immature or anything, but some of these drawings where very graphic! I know they're only drawings, but they show full detail, including very private parts. But, this is good to turn to for advice, I guess. I suugest this book for anyone over 10, unless they are mature enough to handle it!
