This book is essential for all educators. It's full of ideas you can implement immediately. I began using the "Rules" with my class right after reading them, and it's made a big difference in my class. The students all know that I expect them to say 'thank you,' to show respect for other people's ideas, and to clean up after themselves. I should have read this book years ago!

This is a great book. The author shows that if a person really takes time, anything is possible with children. His rules are basic manners that are used in every day interactions with people. I enjoyed reading this book.

This book is a must-read for new and experienced teachers alike. Mr. Clark's rules are so thought-provoking. Some rules will become a part of your classroom routine and others you may reject. You can sense with every rule, however, the depth to which Mr. Clark cares for his students.
