This book is outstanding. The four agreements is written in terms anyone can follow and understand. Its truly a roadmap to personal freedom and enjoyment of one's life. The philosophy initally brings about awareness for the behaviors we all display no matter our background, status, or belief. Its simply about what makes human beings behave the way they do. The four agreements then give you the choice of how to stop living the life you have and begin a new one of your own choosing.

If you only read one "self-help" book, let it be this one. This is ancient wisdom and practical knowledge about how to live a joyfilled, harmonious life. This little book is easy to read and reread. But the truths contained within will transform your life.

I first read this book on the recommendation of a friend-I would highly suggest reading this book along with FREE YOUR MIND: THE FOUR DIRECTIONS TO AN AWAKENED LIFE by Anthony Stultz-I am not sure why, maybe it is the number 4, but these two books have changed my life.

I enjoyed the CD. It has some wonderful quidelines for everyday living. I would recommend it if anyone is looking for ways to make sense out of creation.

The Four Agreements really are life changing, but the book does NOT add any more insight; it just says the same thing over and over. I read the agreements and loved them. They are so simple, but so powerful to hear and it has already made me a stronger person. I bought the book thinking that I would get more insight into the agreements...... but the book just repeated them! It uses really obvious examples and it keeps referring to the metaphor "hell" (the place people are in when they judge others and don't understand each other) and other metaphors... but they don't enhance the reading. The author just repeats the same thing that was said by replacing words with symbols. I definitely say that the agreements are AWESOME... but seriously... the book is not. Just learn the agreements and you'll be set! (If you do buy the book, think of it as a donation or thank you to the author for simply revealing the 4 agreements)
