Author: Guest This was a great read, however it may be dangerous for those of us that are food obsessed; be prepared to throw out some of your favorite foods! It doesn't come up with an unrealistic, oversimplified answer, which I appreciate. Facts are stated fairly simply and compelling arguements are made for and against every topic. Would recommend it to anyone who doesn't want to be ignorant to food they eat.

Author: Guest Before you eat your next meal you ought to read this book. Well written, entertaining and very informative. Many of the things in this book simply blew my mind. I had no idea what was behind the food I eat. After reading this, you may never look at what is on your plate in the same way again. Highly recommended.

Author: Guest Excellent book for anyone considering where food comes from in the US. It may also be funny for anyone living outside the US to read about how silly our food system is. Corn, corn, corn, the author is obsessed with corn. Although there seemed to be a few inaccuracies, and a few oversimplifications, the author was successfull in describing other choices on how we can all eat.

Author: Guest This book was extremely interesting and well-written. It changed the way I will eat in the future. I feel I am now much more knowledgeable about what food to buy and nutrition in general.

Author: Guest Every single person in the Western world should read this book, especially those living in the United States. We need to know what the choices are that we make when we choose our food. I am a veterinary epidemiologist with competence in both animal and public health... and I found this book a very accurate descriptions of the dilemmas facing our food producing nations.
