When I was planning my first trip to Disney World I felt very overwhelmed. Disney World is so huge that I had no idea where I was going to start. I started to panic about if I would be able to do everything in the time that I had there. That's when I decided to get a guidebook. I looked at several and after I read the reviews of the Unofficial Guide I decided to get it. I was so happy I did. It gives detailed touring plans so you can get the most out of everyday that you are there and avoid a lot of time waiting in line. I also liked that it isn't biased. It tells you the good and the bad about Disney World. I would rather know what to expect then to be surprised and have part of my trip ruined. This is really a great guide, especially for a person's first time to Disney World.

We purchase this book everytime we are planning a trip to Disney world
It is very informative and very helpful
Granted we just went to Disney in 2006 so the 2007 edition was pretty much the same as the 2006 edition-
I would definitely pick this Disney guide over many of the others-

I hadn't been to Disney World since 1994, and my wife had never been there, so when we went in January 2003, we needed good advice. We found it in this book. Rating everything from rides to restaurants, with background information you won't find in official publications, and a healthy dollop of humor, "The Unofficial Guide" is an excellent (and huge) source of information. I just got the 2007 version of the book before we go on another trip, and I'm ripping through it to find changes that had happened to the park since our last trip. Buy this guide several weeks ahead of time to give yourself a chance to sit down with it and do a little informal planning for your own trip.

I always try to prepare each family trip in advance to make the most out of our vacations. As with most folks, the problem is finding the time.
These guys do it all for us! The author(s) including Len Testa's invaluable stat's and "Touring Plans" help make this book invaluable! Their reports are un-biased, independent, and honest. There is as much or as little information as you choose to access. The book is broken down into sections, with an easy to understand rating system for Parks, Rides, Attractions, on & off site Restaurants, Lodging, just about everything! If that isn't enough, there are directions to a web site where you can find updates and even more information to help make your Disney Adventure, whether your first or your hundred-and-first, the best it could possibly be!
