Author: Guest I bought this book to entertain my two year old son during an airline flight. It worked great. We went over and over the book opening the flaps. He loves it.
Author: Guest I bought it when my 1st boy was 2. He just loved it. Before having this book, I have a hard time to keep him still and read. But this book was a magic! He sat long and discovered what's inside the flips. Right now, my 2nd boy loves it also even some flips were torn by his brother. No better deal to start your active kids to read.
Author: Guest My son is a huge Thomas fan, and can sit for quite awhile "reading" this book. He particularly enjoys finding his favorite hidden pictures under the flaps. It is a a good way to work on early counting skills and letter identification.
Author: Guest We bought this book for our then two-year-old and it is still his favorite of all his books. The flaps are not as sturdy as they could be, he's torn a few and the Elmer's glue thing has been initiated, but all-in-all, it's a fabulous book and teaches counting, the alphabet, objects, shapes, etc. It's just such a cute book and is without all the negative things that the regular Thomas books has (i.e. name calling, put downs, etc.). This really isn't a Thomas book per se, but more of a basic let's go to the train yard and see what's going on type of book. I highly recommend it for the train lover in your family. It's one of the nicest books we own.
