This book isn't about playing games, which is what some of the other reviewers will lead you to believe. Well, if it is, that's not what I got out of it. It's about time to spell it out like it is and this book does. It was so refreshing to read something truthful for once about dating and men. Yes, men do love these types of women and that's because they like a girl who won't be pushed around.
One thing that's interesting is that the book helps us women to stop waiting on some jerk to call, come by and make us "happy". Yes! Men can't make us happy, they can only add to our happiness that we have inside. So, Why Men Love Bitches is one of the more interesting dating/realtionship books I've read this year. In addtion to this one, others with merit are "He's Not That Into You" and "Man Magnet".

I had 8 relationships before I found my husband. Once I decided that my education and goal- a PH.D. in Sexuality are as important as the guys around me I started seeing greater interest towards me. This fabulous book is NOT about playing games. Both strong and self-confident men and women do NOT play games. They know their own value. They have their own life and want a partner, NOT an attachment!
The author has presented this very strong, important and paradigm shifting message in an understandable book which I am sure everyone will enjoy. I am also sure that men will always be more interested in confident and innerly strong women than in "nice girls", which are just like an email attachment. You cannot get rid of it and its 24/7/365 there desperate for you. It is not that men are "bored" from "nice girls" but they are just like a stone hanging on your neck and soon or late they will abandon you.
Sherry has done a first class job in showing you all those sometimes small details and actions that separate a confident and strong woman from a man's attachment. That's why it is a very valuable book. Allow me in addition to it to recommend another bestseller, which will further help you to understand and deal better with men: Scientifically guaranteed male multiple orgasms and ultimate sex by Alan Ritz. I think this book is interesting, but symptomatic of women's tendency to over-complicate everything and come up for mysterious and misguided logical explanations for why a guy isn't into them. Despite this author's erudite explanations, the real fact of the matter is that guys want women who can be real with them, and who they can bond with sexually without a ton of drama or co-dependency.
Notice that this book is written by a woman for women, and I offer you a simple analogy: have you ever noticed that the way a woman dresses when she wants to impress other women is very different than what turns a man's head?

What a time we live in! As modern women we have taken control of our own careers, our finances, even our reproduction. So why is it that we seem to have lost the control over our romances and our relationships that our grandmothers and great grand mothers had?
While the name, "Why Men Love Bitches," may seem rather harsh, the book is a well written primer in understanding behavior and correcting the errors that most women make. This is not a "how to make a man fall in love with you in 30 days" guide or a rule book. But rather, highlights the fact that the very things that most modern men find so appealing in women, their independence, their decisiveness, their ambitions and goals, and their own experiences seem to be the first things that we toss out the window as soon as we start a relationship. How many of us put our own needs second or our lives on hold as soon as we enter into a new relationship?
This no nonsense book is an exceptionally well written, often humorous guide to the relationship problems the plague so many women.

It is a very good guidebook for women who want to establish a smooth relationship, but don\'t read it before it\'s too late ! A book for a Woman, either nice or Not nice. We should all read it for leisure, in my opinion. Sherry Argov\'s insights and tips for relationship are practical and helpful. And she can get you examples that fit in this era. She is able to tell what we do not realize for years. I read certain parts more than once to learn the differences between Men and Women in handling relationship, regardless long-term or short term.
